Picasso was a Japanese rock trio which made its debut in 1984 with Honki! Tricky Lady. In 1986, they hit the jackpot with anime fans when their songs "Ci · ne · ma" and "Fantasy" were used as theme songs for the anime TV series Maison Ikkoku. The band plugged along until 1995 with moderate success before calling it a day.  They re-entered the music business in 2000, starting up the Metronom Records label, where they find and manage new talent.
